    8. Accuracy Info: Accuracy and precision estimated to be ± 1.23 micromol/kg CRM's were used to calibrate the cell volume. Acid density was measured with an Anton Parr density meter. Acid concentrations were calibrated coulometrically. A total of 45 CRM samples were analysed for titration alkalinity during the cruise, and the standard deviation of teh measurements was 1.23 micromol/kg. Duplicate samples analysed during the cruise dhowed an absolute difference of 0.79 ± 0.62 micromol/kg (1 s.d.; n = 151).
