Abstract:

This image was created from a mosaic of 60 meter 2-arc second dems on

which the hillshade function was performed. With the Cell X size:

0.000678508788 and the Cell Y size: 0.000678508788.

Intended use of data

This image was intended to be used as a backdrop showing relief of

state topography for New Mexico.

Supplemental_Information:

The 512 DEM files were put together into a statewide coverage using

ERDAS software. Then the shaded relief was created using the ARC GRID

hillshade command. Contact the BLM for details of creation of the

orginal DEMs (Bob Bewley 505-438-7481).
