These data are typically used as base data for other coverages. The data
are intended for use as a general reference to the extent and boundaries of
the New Mexico Municipal Districts.
This data set was created by extracting arcs from the 1:100,000 scale
TIGER/Line digital data set of New Mexico County boundaries. Three arcs
that did not coincide with county boundaries were added to the set using
ARC/INFO ARCEDIT commands. An 8.5" x 11" paper map taken from the 1998
Municipal League directory was used as a source. Software used is
ARC/INFO 7.1.1.
